SUMMARY:10th Annual kim Gallyon Memorial Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The Iredell County Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring the 10th ANNUAL KIM GALLYON MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT on Friday\, October 3rd\, 2008 at Fox Den Country Club in Statesville.  (For those of you who are not familiar\, Kim Gallyon was the former Recreation Director for Iredell County who passed away in 1999).\n\nAll proceeds raised from the tournament will go towards the Iredell County Park Fund\, which will help create and manage park facilities in our community. Please help us to make this the most successful tournament yet! We are currently searching for players (teams or individuals)\, sponsors\, and door prize donations.\n\nThe tournament will be a 4-person Captain?s Choice format. The entry fee is $60 per person\, which includes golf fees and cart. Check-in will be from 12noon-12:45pm\, with a shotgun start at 1pm. Prizes will be given for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place teams\, longest drives\, and closest to the pin. There will also be door prizes distributed! This year we are expecting several great hole-in-one prizes from Infiniti of Charlotte\, including a set of golf clubs\, a flat screen TV\, round trip US airfare tickets\, and a NEW CAR! Registration deadline is Monday\, September 29th.
