DESCRIPTION:In 2017 the Senior Center had several volunteers that participated in a walkability audit in downtown Mooresville\, led by Centralina Council of Governments. Results of the audit are being officially presented to the town at the next town board meeting on Mon.\, Feb. 19. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. The Senior Center is encouraging all seniors to take this opportunity to advocate for the town to address the identified needs in consideration of older adults and the disabled. It's extremely important that the senior population be represented in this advocacy effort\, and this can only happen by you advocating and having a voice for what is needed. If you can attend in support\, please let the Senior Center know. Have a voice!
