DESCRIPTION:Mooresville Graded School District in conjunction with local businesses within Iredell County will host its first annual Career Bridge ? College / Career Night on Tuesday\, November 3\, 2009 at The Charles Mack Citizen Center from 6:00 PM ? 9:00 PM.   \n\nCareer Bridge is a program designed to enlighten students on the various avenues available to them\, whether it be college bound\, technical school\, immediate employment or a mixture of post education and employment.  The College / Career Night affords students the opportunity to learn what various colleges and technical schools can offer while giving them a glimpse at what businesses are looking for from prospective employee?s.   The event has been designed to encourage students\, businesses and colleges to observe\, question and interact with one another.  The goal is to inform students of the various avenues available to them\, help them make decisions and show them how they can achieve those opportunities.  Additionally we want to showcase our local businesses and industry with the hope that businesses will be able to find a better trained workforce that is locally available.
