Please mark your calendars and plan to join us in downtown Mooresville for a weekend with the "arts".\n\n"Cotton" Ketchie's Arts Festival\n\nThe Arts Festival is sponsored by the Mooresville-Lake Norman Exchange Club and the proceeds benefit the prevention of child abuse in Iredell County. Approximately 40 juried artisans will be participating...their works include pottery\, painting\, jewelry making\, sculpture\, photography\, and woodturning. On Friday evening\, August 17\, there will be a "Meet the Artist" Gala...tickets are $50 each. Hors d'euvers will be provided by Nancy Brody of Catered Occasions and wine will be served. There will be a live and silent auction of original artwork donated by the participating artisans. Music for the evening will be provide by "Night Shift". On Saturday\, the event is free to the public
