DESCRIPTION:AARP Tax Aide will be at the South Iredell Senior Center on Thursdays and Fridays from February 4 through April 15 to help individuals file their taxes. Walk-ins will be taken between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The wait time will depend on the number of present individuals needing service and those with an appointment. To avoid a long wait\, an appointment is strongly encouraged. Appointments will be made on a first come first served basis and set between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. You must bring all tax papers and your 2014 tax return. An interpreter is available upon prior request for Spanish speaking individuals\, and a wheelchair is located at the Senior Center to help assist individuals who are physically impaired. This free service is available to all seniors and low income individuals.
