SUMMARY:Gentiva Health Services 7th Annual Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:As many of you know\, each August Gentiva hosts a food drive\, and our 7th Annual Food Drive is about to begin. Our event officially kicks off August 1st and runs through the 31st. We at Gentiva have supported the Mooresville Soup Kitchen over the last 3 years and at this time we are organizing a canned food drive.  Their mission for 24 years has been to provide a hot and nourishing meal to those in need and they do this in a warm and welcoming place. This has been accomplished through the support of many who believe in their mission. They serve lunch Monday through Friday and during the months of January\, February and March they also serve on Saturdays. Last year they served almost 40\,000 meals to those who walked through their doors.  After checking with them\, they are in most need of  .\n\n	 \n\n	CREAM OF CHICKEN & CELERY SOUP\, PEARS\, MANDARIN ORANGES\, FRUIT COCKTAIL\, APPLE SAUCE\,                   CARROTS\, MAYONNAISE\, PAPER TOWELING\,                                               PLASTIC FORKS\, DESSERT PLATES\n\n	 \n\n	 \n\n	PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS TIME OF YEAR\, THEIR PANTRY SHELVES ARE GETTING BARE. SO ANYTHING YOU GIVE IS MORE THAN WHAT THEY HAD. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS DRIVE A SUCCESS. Please contact Juanita Zwiener at 704-902-6072 if you or your organization would like to assist with any donations.  We would also be happy to pick up any donations at your place of business.
