SUMMARY:Harp Guitar Gathering
DESCRIPTION:The 13th annual Harp Guitar Gathering will take place October 23rd 25th at Saint Patrick's Episcopal Church as part of the Solas Leighis Concert Series. It will include two concerts open to the public\, on Saturday evening at 7:30 pm and Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm. The Saturday evening concert will feature world class harp guitarists from around the world\, including Phil deGruy\, The Zingaresca Duo\, Don Alder\, Muriel Anderson\, Drew Baldwin\, Stephen Bennett\, The Powell Brothers\, Andy Wahlberg and Musically Yours. The Sunday afternoon recital concert will be more informal and feature a variety of performers. Tickets for each concert will be sold at the door: $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.\n\nThe Harp Guitar Gathering is an annual weekend-long event celebrating the instrument known as the harp guitar\, as well as its players\, builders and history. It features two public concerts and a series of activities for registered participants. Registered Gathering participants may attend all the weekend's activities\, including workshops\, Luthier panel and presentations\, discussion groups\, special performances\, instruments sale\, and much more. The concerts and all weekend activities are included for participants who pay a single registration fee. Discount spouse and family registrations are available as are some individual weekend events.
