SUMMARY:Race City Festival ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, May 14th  9am-3pm Race City Festival(Annual event for the community) will be held outdoors along Main and Broad Streets.  The 2011 celebration will feature more than 150 vendors\, artist displays\, live demonstrations\, downtown merchant sidewalk sales\, a children's area\, international food court and entertainment second to none beginning at 9:30am with the Academy of Dance students.  At 10am Lake Norman Dance Gallery takes center stage followed at 10:30am with the National Anthem and Introduction of the Miss Race City Queens.  (Also from 10-11am event sponsor WSIC Radio will be broadcasting LIVE from their booth on Broad Street).  From 11a-11:30 you will feel the energy from Fit Avenue's Zumba Demonstration which will then lead into the show stopping Acrofitness dancing in the street performance at Noon.  Rough Draft will perform a variety of their hits from 12:30-1:30 and the festivities conclude from 2-3pm with Shaggie Maggie (beach/variety) music.  The festival is an annual community event presented by the Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber of Commerce and member businesses.  There is no admission fee\, families are encouraged to attend.
