DESCRIPTION:The Senior Center will hold a silent auction fundraiser open to the community on Sat.\, Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 202 N. Church St. location\, in the lower level of the Charles Mack Citizen Center. The auction will continue Mon.\, Sept. 21 through Thurs.\, Sept. 24 from 8 a.m. ? 5 p.m. each day\, and Fri.\, Sept. 25 at 8 a.m. and concluding at 2 p.m. The auction will include a section of the #1 car from the Sprint Cup Race in 2014 that was driven by Jamie McMurray\, NASCAR items\, furniture\, Carolina Panthers memorabilia\, gift certificates\, quilts\, gift baskets\, collectibles\, and much more. Please come place your bid and help support the Senior Center. Funds are being raised to close in the Senior Center so that it?s not so cold and noisy. We are accepting donations of large-ticket items or monetary contributions toward the cause. Please help spread the word about the auction. Thanks so much!
