SUMMARY:The Fight for The Cure 24 Hour Tennis-a-Thon
DESCRIPTION:24 Hour Tennis-a-Thon beginning on May 20th @ 5 PM and ending on May 21st @ 5 PM. Play as many hours as you like. Participants collect flat donations or sponsors at an hourly rate. For every $500 a participant colects\, we give them a $100+ tennis racket. Contact CrohnsWarrior@yahoo.com for a Sponsorship Form. This therapeutic vaccine targets MAP(Mycobacterium Avium subspecies Paratuberculosis) and successfully stimulated immunity against MAP in animals trials. The companion diagnostic test allows MAP to be seen in intricate detail\, for the first time\, using either blood or tissue samples and yields NO false negatives or false positives. This test will not only provide a diagnosis of MAP infection\, but giving important insights into how MAP causes disease. In the future\, it may also help to shed light on other conditions where MAP-associations have been noted. Human trials begin Summer 2016!!! The first Crohn?s Patient trial is scheduled for February 2017. Our mission is to end Crohn?s Disease. Please help us!! Our Community has been extremely supportive. Our Golf Tournament Hole-In-One prizes and Golfer Vacation Raffle will be provided by Liberty Buick GMC Trucks. Tennis-a-Thon participants will receive a tennis racket worth $100+ for every $500 they collect. Our Raffle & Silent Auction items include a pair of UNC Charlotte 49ers tickets and Long Champ designer purse\, not to mention the wonderful baskets contributed by our local families. One family donated a pair or prime Coca Cola 600 tickets! Our local Bojangles and Little Caesars are providing some food.
