Community Acupuncture provides a highly affordable alternative to private acupuncture treatment. By treating small groups of people together in a slowly rotating fashion (one in every 15 min.\, one out every 15 min.) costs are highly minimized. While Community style acupuncture may not be appealing to everyone and may not be the right thing for all illnesses\, it does provide a less expensive option for many people. As well\, while total privacy may be traded to help lower cost\, often times there is an enhanced effect to treatment that is experienced as part of an intimate group. Patient intakes are usually brief (5-10min.) and the treatments that follow will typically last for about 30 minutes.\n\n\n\n(As well as its efficacy being proven by the National Institutes of Health and studies done on military personal suffering from PTSD\, there is anecdotal evidence from patients receiving massage\, shows that a de-stress treatment greatly enhances the effect of the massage.
