The Iredell Council on Aging is helping to coordinate a caregiver?s conference in an effort to educate the community, especially the non-senior population, on caregiver issues and challenges in regards to dementia. There will be a panel of various guest speakers. The conference is open to the public and will be held on Tues., May 6 from 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Mooresville. Targeted audience: Family caregivers, healthcare professionals, counselors, social workers, faith community members, and anyone interested in learning more about dementia.
