Practical jokers Mr Jones and Miss Brown tell each of the Guests that wealthy visitor Mr Long is especially interested in their individual hobbies. They also tell Mr Long that the boarding house is a lunatic asylum. Hilarity ensues as chaos tops confusion, soon causing Mr Long to fear for his life. The madness culminates in a crazy seance! Considered by many to be one of the funniest one-acts ever written!
