Iredell Senior Games ? A Celebration of the Human Spirit

Attention all adults age 50+! That?s right age 50+. North Carolina Senior Games has now lowered the age requirement for participating, so for the first time all you age 50+ can now join in the family, fun, friends, good food and fellowship! Come on and give us your best shot. You may have the younger body, but with age comes more practice and know how?.so bring it on, we?re ready! Events include: bowling, billiards, table tennis, golf, swimming, horseshoes, shuffleboard, tennis, bocce, bean bag, cornhole, cycling, fun walk, disc golf, basketball shoot, badminton, pickle ball, and track & field. If you?re not into sports, then perhaps art is your thing. Silver Arts include: heritage, visual, literary, and performing arts. Don?t wait until you register to start working on your art piece or performing act. It takes time to be creative. Registration deadline is Mon., April 11, 2016; it will be here before you know it! South Iredell Senior Center will have entry forms available by the end of February. Be sure to pick up your copy and enter by the deadline. Senior Games is great fun and a good way to meet new people and make new friends. The Games help you to keep your mind, body and spirit fit. There is something for everyone.
