Lean Performance U: How High Performance Motorsports Teams Use Lean Principles
World class organizations North Carolina State University IES and Performance Instruction & Training (PIT) join forces to bring you this dynamic and award winning introduction to lean, continuous improvement, and 5S principles. The principal goal of the lean production system is to satisfy the customer by achieving products and services of the highest quality, lowest cost and shortest times . . . the same objectives of winning motorsports teams. This program provides a one-of-a-kind combination of classroom presentation, discussion, hands-on learning activity, and site visits to a race shop utilizing lean concepts.
