I grew up in the panhandle of Florida. White sand ... beautiful dunes ... Music was a big part of my life ... we took lessons and my mother also sang to us all the time. I chose to make North Carolina my home over 10 years ago. The rolling hills ... the mountains ... the incredible blue of the sky ... the trees... There is something to be said about the way it just captures you. My musical style is a mixture of the different kinds of music I grew up listening to. Through writing I have discovered more truth about life people and myself than I ever thought possible. Music is ... soulful ... emotional ... healing ... and connects us in a much deeper way than anything else I have ever experienced. The love I have for music is deeply rooted in my upbringing and continues to reveal a deeper sense of who I am as I practice the art of self expression that longs to come out. I have nothing but respect, love and appreciation for those who come to listen as well as for those who share their own self expressions and stories. Music is such a universal language ... to share one's music is the opportunity to communicate to others ... and the wonderful gift is that there are no boundaries. Please support local music ... there is an abundance of very talented musicians all through this region. I am blessed to have many of them in my group of friends. Thanks for stopping by for a visit!
