The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold two public hearings this month about the proposed project to widen N.C. 150 to a multi-lane, median divided roadway from Mooresville to Lincoln County.The purpose of the project is to improve traffic capacity and reduce congestion along N.C. 150 from the N.C. 16 Bypass to the U.S. 21/N.C. 150 interchange. An Environmental Assessment for this project was approved in March 2016. At the hearings, the design alternatives will be presented to the public for review and comment.
