NASCAR Jail & Bail Charity Event

The First Official Jail and Bail charity event to benefit the Brienne Davis Scholarship Fund, is set for Oct. 8 at Brickhouse Tavern in Davidson, N.C. NASCAR celebrities Tony Stewart, Juan Pablo Montoya, David Stremme, Wendy Venturini, Ron Hornaday, Aric Almirola, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Michael McDowell and many more will all have their day in court when they get ?locked up? and have to raise their bail in an effort to raise funds for the scholarship fund. Davis, a Universal Technical Institute (UTI) graduate and NASCAR Sprint Cup official, died tragically earlier this year at age 28, and is honored by this scholarship created to encourage women to seek a career in the automotive industry. The Brienne Davis Scholarship Fund is intended to provide an opportunity for a qualified female student who wishes to attend the NASCAR Technical Automotive Program at the UTI?s NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, NC. The event will feature the jail and bail portion with NASCAR celebrities, a live auction of the ?convicts? autographed uniforms, food, beverage, a demonstration by the Burnout Bike, and a performance by local artists From A Seed and ShowDog Recording artists Flynnville Train. The Burnout Bike, built by The Cycle Xchange (TCX) in Matthews, NC, sports a custom chassis with a monster NASCAR tire on the rear, and has performed ground-shaking, crowd-pleasing smoking burnouts at more than 250 national bike shows and other major events across the country. The Burnout Bike Pit Crew performs NASCAR-style pit stops and tire changes during the demonstrations. An online auction featuring autographed NASCAR memorabilia will go live Oct. 1 at 5:00pm ET and run through Oct. 15 and will benefit the Brienne Davis Scholarship Fund.
