Since 1924 Toastmasters has been helping people get over their fear of public speaking and become better speakers and leaders. Benefits can be improved job performance, promotions with improved self-esteem and effectiveness. You can also improve the use of humor as Toastmasters may compete for humorous contests. Ahlara International, 155 Joe V. Knox Road, exit 33 west, turn left off Williamson Road just before the post office. We meet in the Community Room.
Fees/Admission
Guests are no charge. Members payy $9.50 a month in 6 month increments plus $40 one time fee in materials for new members. Members recieve two manuals and various support materials as well as the monthly Toastmaster magazine featuring world speakers and leadership news and tips.
