Wednesday, November 11
11:00 am: Annual Flag Ceremony – Glenwood Memorial Park – Ceremony led by American Legion Post 66
12:00 pm: Veterans Day Parade – Downtown Mooresville – Everyone is invited to come celebrate our heroes! Groups, organizations, and individuals representing varying military branches and conflicts will march, ride, wave, and float down Main Street in Downtown Mooresville in a magnificent tribute to our vets.
1:00 pm: Veterans Celebration – Town Hall Lawn – Enjoy the post-parade festivities including formal recognitions, living history, food, fun and plenty of camaraderie.
2:00 pm – 5:00 pm: *American Legion Forum on Veterans Issues – Town Hall* – The National American Legion will host an open forum focused on current veteran issues.
4:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Rockie Lynne Tribute Concert Live – Town Hall Lawn – Army vet and critically acclaimed country star Rockie Lynne performs a patriotic concert live. The event is presented by the Piedmont Veterans Assistance Council. Concert is free and open to the public!
Thursday, November 12
9:00 am – 5:00 pm: *Veteran Benefit Action Center – Charles Mack Citizen Center* Veterans and dependents will be assisted by a combined team including Veterans Service Officers, VA Benefits and VA Healthcare representatives.
10:00 am – 3:00 pm: *Veterans Job Fair presented by Mooresville South Iredell Economic Development Corporation – Charles Mack Citizen Center – Cedar Room* The 2015 Veterans Job Fair is offered free of charge, and will host 20 vendors actively hiring.
Friday, November 13
9:00 am – 5:00 pm: *Veteran Benefit Action Center – Charles Mack Citizen Center* Veterans and dependents will be assisted by a combined team including Veterans Service Officers, VA Benefits and VA Healthcare representatives.
Saturday, November 14
10:00 am: Closing Ceremony – Welcome Home Veterans Living Military Museum – closing ceremonies with acknowledgements, plaque presentations, music and honors.
10:30 am: *5th Annual “Salute to Vets” Motorcycle Ride* – The annual ride to the Hefner VA Medical Center will leave from Welcome Home Veterans Living Military Museum, and is followed by the annual Knights of Columbus BBQ.
