Learn, laugh and fill you tummy on Fri., April 24 from 11-12:30. Topics covered will include the does and don?ts of medication safety, how to better manage your medications, drug interaction, general questions about newer medications, etc. A light lunch will be included and a special treat will be performed by the SISC Serendipity Players who will do a skit on medication safety to get the message across using humor and laughter. You may even be able to identify and say ?O My Gosh, I?ve done that, that?s me.? To attend the program, please RSVP by Mon., April 20 with a $1 donation to SISC in support of their health promotion programs. No registration by phone please. The workshop is being conducted and sponsored Lake Norman Regional Hospital. In addition to the program, the Mooresville Police Department will be at the Senior Center between 10 a.m. and noon doing a pill take back, so please take this opportunity to safely dispose of your expired and unwanted medicines.
