Taught by U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Instructors, Boat Crew and Coxswains who conduct Safety Missions on Lake Norman.
Course includes: Federal and North Carolina Legal Requirements, Personal Watercraft Regulations, Boat Handling, Navigation, Knot tying, surviving Boating Emergencies, Safety Equipment Displays, and information regarding Boating on Lake Norman.
Course satisfies the North Carolina State law, effective May 1, 2010, requiring all boaters under 26 years of age to successfully complete a NASBLA approved Boater Safety Course.
Cost: $45.00 per person. Cost includes Text Book, Waterproof Chart of Lake Norman, Laminated Photo ID, Certificate of Completion, Boating Safety Handouts and Lunch.
