Mooresville will hold its annual Wiener Race October 6, 2012. Check-in opens at 9:30am on race day with the first heat starting at 11:00.
The fee to register and race your dog is $25 along with proof of all required vaccinations. Registration forms can be downloaded from the website www.mooresvillewienerrace.com and must be submitted no later than September 31, 2012, with no registrations accepted on race day. Dogs will race in groups of 6 based on age categories and once those festivities are complete, focus moves to contests for “Cutest” and “Best Dressed”, with an awards ceremony directly after and raffles for vendor gifts and prizes.
Proceeds from the events go to Friends of the Animals.
