Grab your running shoes, your family and friends! Get FIRED up for a great cause. Blaze a trail at the 3rd Annual Fire 5K. Earn your cool refreshment and plate of BBQ at the festival to follow the race. Join in the sense of community vision as we celebrate our past and look forward to our bright future.

THE CAUSE: The Ada Jenkins Center
The Ada Jenkins Center founders, staff, and board of directors strongly believe that unforeseen circumstances can place people of all walks of life at risk. Whether a family has to face illness, job loss, or other life situations, we know that all people have the ability to improve their lives, and we are here to help them do so. Working together to provide our neighbors with the tools for a better life is what The Ada Jenkins Center is all about.

OUR VISION:
To support the people of Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson and South Iredell County toward becoming better educated, healthier and more economically
self-sufficient, empowering them for a better tomorrow.

Entry Fee: FIRE 5K $25 register online http://www.queencitytiming.com/. $35 race day.

Race Packet: Packets include an event bag and one BBQ lunch ticket.

Race Time: April 30th, 2011. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Ada Jenkins Center 212 Gamble Street Davidson, NC 28036. Race starts at 10:00 a.m.

Special Note: No bikes or skate devices.

Post Event Party: BBQ lunch tickets may be purchased for those not participating in the race. Tickets are $10. BBQ will be served at 11:00 a.m. at the Ada Jenkins Center.

Awards: Awards will be given for each age group. Top 3 males Top 3 females of each age group: 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-99.
