Gentiva Health Services 7th Annual Food Drive

As many of you know, each August Gentiva hosts a food drive, and our 7^th Annual Food Drive is about to begin. Our event officially kicks off August 1^st and runs through the 31^st. We at Gentiva have supported the Mooresville Soup Kitchen over the last 3 years and at this time we are organizing a canned food drive.  Their mission for 24 years has been to provide a hot and nourishing meal to those in need and they do this in a warm and welcoming place. This has been accomplished through the support of many who believe in their mission. They serve lunch Monday through Friday and during the months of January, February and March they also serve on Saturdays. Last year they served almost 40,000 meals to those who walked through their doors.  After checking with them, they are in most need of ….

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS TIME OF YEAR, THEIR PANTRY SHELVES ARE GETTING BARE. SO ANYTHING YOU GIVE IS MORE THAN WHAT THEY HAD. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS DRIVE A SUCCESS.
