Come enjoy some cold tasty ice cream on this hot summer day with guest speaker Denise Bair, Tar Heel Legislator Delegate, on Friday, Aug. 2 at 2 p.m. at South Iredell Senior Center. You will have the opportunity to learn how the N.C. Tar Heel Legislature advocates on behalf of seniors. Receive information on the Governor's Advisory Council on Aging Recommendations and Legislative Priorities. Mrs. Bair will also discuss how seniors themselves can advocate for senior centers and older adults. There will be an open dialog session following Mrs. Bair's presentation.
