The United Way, Mooresville/Lake Norman is having their annual community Day of Caring on September 13. We will have community-wide projects located in Mooresville, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville and Statesville/Troutman.
Volunteers of all ages are needed to help in our community. Projects will include but are not limited to schools, parks, non-profits and the elderly. Most projects involve outdoor landscaping, cleanup and painting.
On the Day of Caring there will be a special kickoff at the Cove Church, 197 Langtree Road, Mooresville, 8:00am to receive a tee shirt, project assignment and continental breakfast. Volunteers will then disperse to volunteer sites where projects will be performed from approximately 9:00am to noon. There will be a coordinator at each project site to answer any questions.
