Every year, Two Men And A Truck holds a campaign entitled Movers for Moms, where we work to collect essential need items for women in homeless and domestic abuse shelters. Spring is officially here which means the campaign is also officially here! First launched in 2007 by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, the Movers for Moms® program seeks to recognize moms in crisis on Mother’s Day by arranging delivery of gifts to women living in local shelters on the holiday weekend.
We work through the month of April to collect as many items as possible to make Mother’s Day great. The items needed range from personal hygiene products, to cleaning supplies, to non-perishable food items and other things needed for a home - a full list of most needed items can be found below. Everything collected will be donated to My Sister's House and distributed to all of the women and their families that they help.
If you would like to donate, items can be brought to our office, located at 161 McKenzie Road or to one of our collection partners (a list of which can be found online at twomenmooresville.com)
