If you provide help to a loved one, then POWERFUL TOOLS FOR CAREGIVERS classes are for you! Learn how to: Handle tough Caregiving decisions, hold family meetings, long distance Caregiving, grandparents raising grandchildren, accessing local resources, Grief, Loss, End of Life issues, and much more! This 6 week 90 minute evidence based course will enhance your Caregiving skills and knowledge. Class dates are: March 24th, March 31st, April 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the South Iredell Senior Center, 202 N. Church Street, Mooresville, NC 28115. There is no cost but donations are greatly appreciated. Respite Care can be provided for your family member if needed in order for you to attend classes, this care however must be reserved in advance. This workshop is aimed at educating and providing information to caregivers or individuals that work with older adults; however, the workshop is open to all interested.
