‘Project Yellowstone – Stimulating Conservation through Appreciation’, by Park Collins, Biology Instructor, Mitchell Community College will be the presentation at the January 17th meeting of the PROBUS Club of Lake Norman. Mr. Collins will describe the college’s Project Yellowstone, an inter-generational learning program which exposes participants to the history, ecology and management strategies of Yellowstone National Park. He will discuss the objective of the trip and what qualifies you as a participant. All are welcome to attend this free presentation at the PROBUS Club on January 17th, held at the Berea Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Hwy 150, Mooresville, just west of Perth Road. Coffee and fellowship begin at 10 a.m. The hour-long program will begin at 10:30. You are invited to join members for lunch at a nearby restaurant following the meeting.
