The Washington Times reported that the Consitution frequenly gets lip service in Congress, so House Republicans next year will make sure it gets a lot more than that - the new rules the incoming majority party proposed this week calls for a full reading of the country's founding document on the floor of the House on January 6th. Knowledge of the Constitution is precisely what the Stand Up NC meeting will cover on Tuesday, Jan. 4th at the Charles Mack Citizen Center in Mooresville 7 to 9 pm. The featured speaker, Dr. Troy Kickler has been the fouding director of the NC History Project since 2005 and is currently at NC State.
